Lucía Palma
Lucía Palma (San Roque, Cádiz, 1990) holds a Fine Arts degree from the University of Granada and a Master’s in Art, Museums and Historical Heritage Management from the same university. Her practice focuses on pictorial research around astronomy, landscape, and experimentation with traditional materials—especially gold leaf—as a plastic and expressive resource.
Since 2020 she has maintained an ongoing exhibition practice, taking part in solo and group shows as well as contemporary art competitions. Her work opens a dialogue between scientific knowledge and aesthetic experience, exploring painting as a space of contemplation where matter, light, and metaphor take centre stage.
Through constant research, her work seeks a visual language of its own that combines technical rigour, experimentation, and poetic sensibility. She continues to develop new pictorial projects and to take part in open calls, exhibitions, and programmes that support the dissemination and evolution of her practice.
